the guy's real life story:

he's a guy from china and has a tumor that weighs more than 20kg in his face, as such this caused his face to be severely distorted. since young, he has been a subject to crude and mean jokes, even a circus wanted to buy him to perform in their circus freak show. a hospital agreed to help him as they have operated on 2 of such cases before. doctors warned that he might die during the operation as his tumor is surrounded by too many blood vessels. however, his sheer courage and determination to improve his life has made him pull through the operation. now, he still has some tumor which are needed to be removed.
